Five distinct trim packages are available with the 3 series sedan. The 320i begins at $33,150, and the all-wheel version, the 320i xDrive, starts at $35,150. Go up one step to the 328i and 328i xDrive, which cost $38,350 and $40,350, respectively. At the next trim level, pricing for the 328d begins at $39,850, and the 328d xDrive has an initial price tag of $41,850. This amped up machine on the 328i and 328i xDrive maxes out at 240 horsepower and 255 lbs-ft of torque. The 330e has a similar engine, which manages to give 248 horsepower. At the top of the line, the 340i and 340i xDrive have a 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower turbo inline six-cylinder engine. This beast under the hood provides up to a whopping 320 horsepower and 330 lbs-ft of torque.
