Fact - Great power does not equal greater fuel consumption! BMW's X3 models ending with 30i feature a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Even more impressive is that the Environmental Protection Agency has estimated the sDrive30i's fuel consumption at 23 miles per gallon in the city and 30 mph on the highway and 26 mpg combined. The xDrive 30i achieves 22 mpg city/29 mpg hwy/25 mpg combined.
ALL ITS FORMS
The 2020 BMW X3 comes in three forms - the sDrive30i, xDrive30i and M40i. The sDrive30i comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED low beams/halogen high beams, LED daytime running lights and fog lights and the list goes on. There are 8-way power adjustable front seats, driver side memory settings, a luxurious leather wrapped steering wheel, reclining rear seats, iDrive electronics interface and killer sound thanks to a 12-speaker audio system and HD radio.
The xDrive30i has this same equipment but additionally all-wheel drive with hill-descent control giving you all the control behind the wheel. The vehicle has an optional Convenience package including adaptive LED headlights, keyless entry/ignition, a panoramic sunroof and more. The Premium package runs the gamut, including everything from the Convenience package and head-up display to heated front seats and steering wheel as well as real-time traffic updates, smartphone-based remote services and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration.
The M40i adds a more powerful engine, sport exhaust, 19-inch alloy wheels and features like upgraded brakes, sport-tuned suspension and variable-ratio steering. This vehicle also includes M Sport styling, automatic high beams, 14-way power-adjustable front sport sets and hands-free tailgate operation.
