Perfection unfolds….

A new interpretation of the kidney grille — the largest one yet — is just one of the crowning achievements and forward thinking behind the BMW Concept 4, a combination of coupe styling and keen aesthetics with a nod to the original 4 Series Coupe. Considered the true face of the future, this concept is complete with hand-selected details and crafted for a ride that is gripping and packed with thrills.

With a Forbidden Red hue, this concept shines from every angle, with the exclusive color transfixing and transforming every surface on this BMW Concept 4, resulting in a dynamic, rich character that mirror’s the driver’s persona.

The Concept 4 embodies the aesthetic essence of the BMW brand by combining perfect proportions and a clear, precise design. That design gets its inspiration in great part by the 8 Series, with a subtle ducktail spoiler, muscular rear haunches and overall profile, but tends to be even more sporty and aggressive.

Main focal points…

The main point of interest with this Concept 4 is its Kidney Grille design, which is futuristic and unique in many ways. By presenting it with a classy twist, it is representative of the face of the vehicle to come — while still remembering the past. These new monster vertically-opposed grilles take drivers back to vehicles like the original BMW 328 of old. It may cause a bit of a stir, as the look is truly unique, but it is definitely an eye catcher.

In the car’s rear, the taillights each house a single fiber-optic element that creates the now-class L-shaped design, featuring a “heartbeat” graphic. It also is presented with vertical vents and a large rear diffuser, which bolsters the car’s overall sporty look and feel!

The Concept 4’s wheels are 21 inches and act as an individual and exclusive take on the traditional five-spoke design. The front of the wheel is complete with five heavily polished open spokes, while other five-spoke design is presented further back resulting in a textured effect.

Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, where there were a host of new and exciting vehicles, this concept’s design is pure class with a hefty dose of flair, including razor thin side mirrors with aluminum on the lower portion and a floating logo inside the mirror itself.

This vehicle gives motorists the idea of what they can expect moving forward when the next-generation 4 Series debuts in 2020. Other models can in fact have this same massive grille!

The design of this concept not only represents the Next-Gen 4 Series, but is more aerodynamic than expected. It is also a perfect blend of muscle and sportiness. The front end features a sleek pair of headlights that are both sophisticated and modern, with a muscular hood that is actually exceptionally long.

The car’s front holds great appeal, with corner vents that have a dynamic feel, with a stunning profile. The body line in the center that runs across the door leads to the side skirts and concave section of the door. Overall, the design is attractive, despite the controversial grille, and this concept is not only exciting but is sure to be a hit!

It is most likely that the Concept 4’s interior will be a standard 4 Series interior, but will feature once in production, improved technology and be more driver-focused than ever before! And, because the 4 Series will continue to be a driver’s car, it is more than possible that once this heads to production, a digital instrument cluster, slightly larger infotainment screen and revised seating will be presented.

The concept’s drivetrain and performance features an engine arrangement that is equipped with the newest technology for better efficiency and extra power. The Concept 4 also represents a decrease in weight, with BMW utilizing lighter materials than before. Models equipped with the seven-speed DCT will most likely see slightly quicker and smoother shifts and spring times that are at least one-tenth of a second better than the current generation

Chrome surrounding the windows accents the daylight opening, and low taillights that are tucked under the trunk lid forms a spoiler-like shape that flows seamlessly into the quarter panels. There are many 3-D elements to this concept, which result in this vehicle being its very own work of art.

An example of the expressive face of the 4 Series range, the Concept 4 is both confident and classy, with aggressive laser headlights, as well as huge air intakes to gulp air down. This concept has taken the world by surprise with its daring design and bold look, and despite a controversial styling element. Introduced as a preview to the latest-generation M3 and M4, the Concept 4 has great appeal. This is what the future holds and what happens when perfection unfolds!
