The classic Alpina look is found here with unique front and rear fascia designs that include larger air intakes up front and a diffuser and a lip spoiler out back. Graceful lines of the Gran Coupe are accentuated by an Alpina-designed front apron to cut through wind resistance and optimize cooling and performance.

A sporty rear design features the model-exclusive apron which perfectly frames the stainless steel Alpina quad exhaust system. Some color choices on the B8 are sure to please, including the exclusive Blue Metallic and Alpina Green Metallic hues.

Twenty-one inch wheels are shown for first time ever on any 8 series, with classic Alpina design. These high-performance tires were co-developed with Pirelli over two and a half years, designed with comfort and performance in mind. This is truly a perfect match for perfect automobile.

Under hood of the B8 is the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 engine that is found in the M850i and the M8 models. For the Alpina, it makes an astonishing 612 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, which puts its output much higher than the 523-hp M850i and just under the 617-hp M8 with its competition package. Also, thanks to the Alpina’s different exhaust system, a more distinctive soundtrack is realized.

Standard on the Alpina is an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The B8 is expected to get to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, with an impressive top speed of 201 mph.
