Bimmers and Brunch Recap: 100+ Car Fans, a Little Rain, and a Lot of Sunshine
Bimmers and Brunch, hosted by BMW of Akron at our Certified Pre-Owned building at 469 W Cedar St in Akron, Ohio, brought together more than 180 registered guests and over 100 car enthusiasts who still showed up in person to share good food, great cars, and even better company. The morning started under gray skies and a steady rain, but nobody let that slow them down — and by the time the sun broke through, the lot was full of conversation, new friendships, and some of the best-looking BMWs in Northeast Ohio.
What happened at Bimmers and Brunch?
Bimmers and Brunch is simple: bring your car, grab something to eat, and meet the people who love cars as much as you do. BMW owners of every generation rolled in — daily drivers, weekend M cars, and everything in between — but this was never a BMW-only crowd. A McLaren made an appearance, along with Audis, Mercedes-Benz models, and plenty of other brands, and every one of them was welcome.
Brunch was handled by Cleveland Waffle Co, whose delicious waffles and brunch items kept everyone fueled, while Here We Go Coffee poured coffee and chai lattes all morning long. Good food and great coffee kept the conversations going long after the plates were cleared.
The best part was not any single car. It was watching strangers become friends, and owners swap stories and tips Plenty of connections were made that we expect will show up at the next meet.
Big news: BMW Motorrad is coming to Akron
We used the morning to share some exciting news: BMW Motorrad is coming soon to BMW of Akron. The new motorcycle store will be located right where Bimmers and Brunch was held — our CPO building at 469 W Cedar St, Akron, OH 44307. Riders across Akron and Northeast Ohio will soon have a home for BMW motorcycles, gear, and service. Stay tuned for opening details.
Rain didn't stop anyone
A rainy start in Northeast Ohio could have kept people home. Instead, more than 100 guests showed up anyway — umbrellas in one hand, coffee in the other. When the clouds finally cleared, the sunshine turned a good morning into a great one, and the freshly washed-by-the-rain paint looked better than ever.
