All about the M3 sedan….A high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, the M3 was developed by BMW’s in-house motorsport division. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The initial model was available in a coupe body style, with a convertible body style added soon after that. But, since 2014, the M3 has been solely produced in a sedan body style.

The M3 has seen changes and strides through the years in the area of handling, brakes, aerodynamics, lightweight materials, various interior upgrades and more.

This high-performance, action packed sedan is a prime example of the innovation that surrounds M engineering, resulting in agile handling and top-of-the-line dynamics. Powered by the BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine, the M3 generates an exceptional 503 horsepower resulting in the BMW M3 Competition being the most powerful M3 ever made, and 479 maximum lb.-ft. of torque. It punches from 0-60 in mph in just 3.8 seconds.

Standard manual transmission gives drivers complete and utter control at all times. Those who opt for the M3 Competition with standard 8-speed M STEPTRONIC Transmission will experience instantaneous and precise shifts on the open road.

This sedan’s dynamics are incredible to say the least. It comes standard with the M-tuned chassis, M Sport Differential and Adaptive M Suspension for exceptional agility, superior traction and perfect handling on all curves and corners.

Style is found here in new colors, powerful proportions, a frameless kidney grille and updated headlight design. This sedan also boasts a sleek, sculpted hood that takes center stage as well as lightweight construction presented in the form of the M Carbon Fiber roof with aerodynamic fins. In back, the look is equally extraordinary, with a new bumper design with integrated diffuser, muscular wheel arches and a streamlined spoiler. The rear also features narrow L-shaped taillights for a modern touch.

Inside, the M3 continues to inspire. Driver-centric screens accented by red M Mode buttons not only make drivers fully engaged, but add to the overall luxury and sportiness of this sedan. Merino Leather hugs the seats which feature illuminated badges. This is style personified!

The M3’s infotainment system runs through a 12.3-inch touchscreen that is controlled primarily via a rotary knob and buttons on the center console. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and multiple charging ports.

In the area of style, the M4 surely delivers! At first glance, the bold coupe styling is made clear and is coupled with iconic M design elements such as eye-catching wheel design and a wide array of exterior colors that are bound to turn heads! With two fewer doors and sleeker proportions, the 2021 M4 is a sportier-looking alternative compared to the M3 sedan. But these vehicles still do have much in common, including performance numbers that have earned bragging rights.

This vehicle also comes with an 8.8-inch touchscreen that supports BMW’s iDrive infotainment software. This system can be operated by buttons on the steering, a rotary controller on the center console and through voice commands.
