In this all-new generation M2, an S58 twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six provides all-out power, made clear in a whopping 453 horsepower and 406 pound-ft of torque. This happens to be the same engine that is standard in the M3s and M4s, though with this model, it makes 20 fewer horsepower, although its torque output is the same.
All of the new M2s are rear-wheel-drive, with buyers given the ability to choose from either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Drivers will enjoy the exhilaration of this powertrain, which boasts the ability to reach 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds when equipped with the optional eight-speed automatic, with the standard six-speed manual transmission reaching that speed in 4.1 seconds.
As M is known for, the all-new M2 features a specially tuned suspension and various other chassis enhancements that add to its speed and agility.
