From increased engine power to exclusive design features, the M3 is sure to deliver. Drivers experience fascinating performance, the ultimate in driving dynamics and an exclusive, luxurious interior as well as intelligent, lightweight construction. See what one of BMW’s highest-performing four-seater sedans, starting at $119,695, has to offer!

Here’s more….

Speed demon!

Defined by higher power output, there’s plenty to boast about under hood in this all new M3 CS. That is thanks to BMW’s M TwinPower turbo inline-6 cylinder engine, featuring a whopping 543 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. This vehicle’s cooling system is designed to not only handle this added power boost, but also the hardships of track use.

Each M3 CS features an eight-speed automatic transmission with a rear-based all-wheel-drive system. Drivers have the ability to jump from the xDrive “4WD” settings to “4WD Sport,” which will direct even more of the engine’s torque to the rear wheels.

The new M3 will rocket from zero to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, with its top speed electronically limited to 188 mph, when equipped with the M Driver’s package.

Lightweight magic!

In an effort to shave off pounds from the competition, BMW utilizes ample amounts of carbon-fiber reinforced plastic on the CS. That is made clear in the lightweight material that makes up the roof, hood, front splitter, front air intakes, exterior mirror caps, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, center console, shift pales and interior trim strips. Also lightweight is the titanium rear silencer fitted to the vehicle’s exhaust. Individually tuned axle kinematics and bespoke wheel chamber settings, dampers, auxiliary springs and anti-roll bars serve to optimize steering precision and transmission of lateral control forces when cornering.

Above all, this lightweight construction plays a large role in defining the performance qualities and exclusive character of this vehicle.

\A look inside!

When it comes to the interior styling of the M3 CS, driver-focused is an understatement! This cockpit is specifically designed with the driver’s pleasure in mind as well as rooted in maximum performance. The driver and front passenger enjoy as standard, lightweight M Carbon bucket seats in a model-specific design. Notable inside is also the lightweight designed center console with red “CS” lettering made from carbon fibre. Also standard and enjoyed by drivers and passengers alike are M seat belts with a woven stripe pattern in BMW M colors, a door plate bearing the inscription “M3 CS,” an Anthracite-colored headliner, interior trim strips in carbon fibre finish and an M Alcantara steering wheel with CFRP shift padded and a red centre marker. Power-adjustable heated seats are standard, with these seats oh so luxurious thanks to their Merino Leather upholstery.

Exterior style

Cutting edge perfectly describes the exterior of the new CS, with the ultra lightweight elements coupled with standard LED headlights with Laser-light and yellow accents, which result in a complete track-ready look. There is also CS-specific red badging on the exterior which provides a truly remarkable and unforgettable aesthetic.

Striking color options run the gamut, including classic Alpine White, Sao Paulo Yellow, Black Sapphire Metallic, Portimao Blue Metallic, Dravit Grey Metallic, Toronto Red Metallic and Tanzanite Blue.

Watch these wheels!

The M3 CS sits on a sit of 275/35ZR-19 front and 285/30ZR-20 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 high-performance tires, which come as a no-cost option. If the Cup 2s are not optioned, the CS comes standard with more conventional summer tires in identical sizes. Regardless of the tire, the CS models roll on special gold bronze or matte-black-M-specific wheels boasting an exclusive V-spoke design.

With a maximum output of 405 kW, 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, maximum traction with MxDrive; CS specific suspension and lightweight design as well as CS specific design features, this vehicle is race-track ready. On your mark, get set…see what this powerhouse has in store!
