A good deal of swank!

When it comes to the 2023 BMW i7, just recently teased to the public, luxury abounds. Leaked images of this all-new EV have revealed rear-seat entertainment featuring large rear seats with a theater screen, opulence at its finest! Also, the lights have it when it comes to this design. From an illuminated grille contour to LED daytime running lights with crystals embedded into the cluster, this vehicle is eye-catching to say the least. This purely electric SUV even boasts such design features as Angel Wings on the sides, and a rear featuring wraparound thin taillights.

What we know!

Design/power/tech!
A cabin with two-toned finish is presented, with a lower section finished in red and boasting diamond-like patterns on the armrest that separates two individual seats.

The i7 is shown with a two-pane panoramic sunroof and a glass Sky lounge with individually adjustable LED light treads. These features ensure that each ride is one rooted in pure enjoyment and beauty.

Rear doors feature sun blinds, considered a typical trait of a fine, luxury vehicle, as are the air vents in the B-pillars.

Supporting the ongoing trend of glowing fascia elements, the i7 is shown with an illuminated grille trim and split headlight treatment. The kidney grille is large in relation to the front fascia.

In the area of lights, the main low and high beam lights will be situated behind a tinted panel, barely noticeable.

The driver is not the only occupant feeling spoiled! BMW has confirmed that the new i7 will have standard the Interaction Bar feature, which is a small screen on the passenger side of the dashboard to control various functions of the interior. The driver will enjoy side-by-side screens that are a carry over of the iX.

An amazing interior will be found here overall, as this i7 represents the absolute flagship in BMW’s range. Curved displays of the iX will be carried over to this model, which means the absence of physical buttons for the climate settings.

That same minimalist approach will be found in the dashboard layout. Most functions will be accessible through the iDrive 8’s display.

This i7 will debut a 31-inch display screen for the rear-seat entertainment system.

Powering this new model will be a new V8 engine. It is poised to be boosted by upwards of 550 horsepower, hitting 62 mph in the low four second range. This SUV will also feature AWD and air suspension on both axles, resulting in a silky smooth ride.

Rear-wheel steering will be offered, at up to 3.5 degrees.

While it is uncertain whether there will be a standard-wheelbase 7 Series, what is teased appears to be the extended variant. This is expected due to the large rear doors.

The i7 will most likely feature the iDrive 8 infotainment system as well as offer an all-new Level 2 hands-free driving assist.

The debut of this highly anticipated EV is slated to take place at 8 a.m. EDT Tuesday (April 20). The purely electric 7 Series will be broadcast on BMW’s dedicated streaming platform as well as on social media. Following this highly anticipated debut, the video will be viewable on demand! A good deal of swank is found here! Stay tuned!
