Power personified!
It’s all excitement when it comes to BMW’s decision to build the next-generation 2-series coupe on a rear-drive platform. Complete with an available all-wheel-drive system, the two-door Coupe has two turbocharged engine options: a 255-hp four-cylinder on the 230i models and a 382-hp straight-six on the M240i. An eight-speed automatic will be the only transmission choice. Promised to be pure joy and entertaining to drive, the all-new 2 Series Couple has performance add-ons to take the driving experience even higher.
Comfort/cargo inside!
Excellent build quality and key ergonomics define what is considered a modern interior of the all-new 2 Series. Upscale materials abound and a variety of luxury features are available. Standard is a set of analog gauges, but an option of a fully digital instrument panel measuring 12.3 inches and a head-up display is also available. Inside, drivers will revel in the leather-wrapped steering wheel and three-zone climate control as well as the iDrive 7 system with a 10-inch touchscreen on the dash and a 12-inch display behind the steering wheel. Also presented is customizable ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats and leather upholstery. Roomier than its predecessor, the Coupe also boasts an increase in overall length and width, including a wheelbase that is stretched by 2 inches.
Exterior appeal
Attention to detail is made clear with this all-new model for 2022. Exterior design cues start with a flatter kidney grill, similar to the one found on a 2 Series Gran Coupe. Unique headlights are also presented with this model as is a much longer bonnet and curvier roofline. Extra creases are found on the doors as are new brake lights in back. BMW has, however kept the real exhaust pipes!
Staying connected!
Infotainment and connectivity is at your fingertips in this all-new 2 Series Coupe. It runs through either an 8.8-inch touchscreen which comes standard or an available 10.3-inch unit. In addition to controls on the steering wheel and voice commands, the interface has the ability to be manipulated thanks to a rotary controller on the center console. This is also surrounded by very useful shortcut buttons. Owners of the all-new 2 Series will enjoy a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 10-speaker stereo. Those who desire the ability to pump up the volume even more can opt for an upgraded 14-speaker, 464-watt Harman Kardon system.
Safety first!
Driver-Assistance and Safety Features are surely to be found in the all-new 2 Series Coupe, including a vast array of standard driver-assistance technology. That includes blind spot monitoring and front and rear parking sensors. Self-parking assist can also come as an option with this feature automatically parking the vehicle in or out of parallel or perpendicular spots. Other important features to note in this all-new model are standard forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking as well as standard lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist. There is also available adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go technology.

When it comes to warranty and maintenance coverage, the all new 2 Series Coupe has you covered! With a perk like complementary maintenance, something not typically found with other luxury brands, BMW also offers a limited warranty covering four years or 50,000 miles and a powertrain warranty covering four years or 50,000 miles. Complimentary scheduled maintenance is also covered for three years of owning the vehicle or 36,000 miles.
